[mpm-itk] php5-cgi with ITK

I am wondering whether it is possible to run PHP via the CGI interface
in an ITK setup, such that PHP scripts will run under the permissions
prescribed by ITK.

I know that I can run PHP as a module (and I have been doing that), but
I would like to have the ability to run different PHP versions at the
same time, which requires using the CGI (or FastCGI) interface.

Does anyone know if this is possible, or whether I need to resort to suexec?

Have a nice weekend,
